2014 ACD Grant Recipients

Big smiles and big congratulations to the 2014 All Children Deserve (ACD) Grant recipients. Following an online vote from the community, the grant amounts were decided for these three wonderful organizations who provide things that All Children Deserve!

1st Place ($7,500): SPECTRUM Autism Support Group

SPECTRUM Autism Support Group were the recipients of a $7,500 ACD Grant! SPECTRUM Autism Support Group provides support, education and resources encompassing the entire spectrum of autism in the metro Atlanta and surrounding county areas. They provide monthly support groups, camps, respite, social skills groups, parent education, family activities and continue to create and add needed programs and services for families impacted by autism.



2nd Place ($2,000): Fragile Kids Foundation

Fragile Kids Foundation were the recipients of a $2,000 ACD Grant! They provide rehabilitation equipment and quality of life enhancing products that are not covered by private insurance, Medicaid or Georgia’s PeachCare system. These items include wheelchair lifts, wheelchair ramp construction, gait trainers, stabilizing chairs, bathing and toileting aids, pediatric strollers, specialized bicycles and much more.



3rd Place ($500): The Marcus E. & Sharon B. Gunter Foundation, Inc.

The MSG Foundation, Inc. were the recipients of a $500 ACD Grant! They serve the homeless and hungry in Forsyth County. Their primary programs include:

  • Bags of Love food supplement for students on all school breaks
  • Dinners for the Hungry for the hungry and homeless the 3rd Saturday of each month
  • Coats, Socks & Gloves campaign
